What will you be doing as a Purchasing Specialist Quotation?

As a Purchasing Specialist Quotation at MAG45, you will be an integral part of our procurement team, ensuring the seamless flow of purchasing processes. Your role will encompass various activities aimed at securing the supply of products and services to MAG45 under the best conditions. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to drive excellence in procurement. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Handling requests for (new) item information and (new) supplier quotations (20-30) from Customer Service. 
• Processing all quotation requests daily, maintaining an efficient workflow and communication with suppliers/customers to gather necessary information and operational support.
• Project Sourcing Activities such as negotiating with suppliers to achieve quality, delivery, and cost objectives and on-time delivery of parts with the expected quantity and quality.

To be successful you have the following qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• A college degree in a related field.
• At least 3-5 years of experience with quotes/quotations within an SME organization (with a larger variety of vendors).
• Profound knowledge of purchasing processes, including managing tenders and contracts.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with an ERP system is preferable (for example Microsoft Dynamics).
