Join Our Dynamic Company as a Teamlead On-Site Operations!
As the Team Lead On-Site Operations, you will lead and coordinate a team of ~8 on-site customer service employees and resident engineers, ensuring that all operational processes are executed in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and customer-specific agreements. You’ll monitor KPIs, address deviations, and implement improvements to maintain high levels of performance and customer satisfaction.
What Will You Do?
Your main goal is to create an efficient and effective working environment by providing support, guidance, and coaching to your team. This includes ensuring smooth process execution, compliance with MAG45’s professional standards, and alignment with other departments. As the first commercial point of contact for our customers you identify, agree (with commercial proposals) and implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase services, topline and margin. While operating with a high degree of independence, you will maintain close collaboration with the Global Site Operations Manager and the Country Manager to ensure alignment on processes and strategies.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Leading and motivating your on-site team to achieve targets and deliver exceptional results.
- Providing guidance on escalations and complex issues to ensure seamless operations.
- Overseeing department KPIs and dashboards, addressing deviations proactively.
- Strengthening team capabilities through regular coaching and development.
- Collaborating with your internal stakeholders to align on operational strategies and improvements.
- Driving process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and service quality.
- Managing operational tasks during peak periods or staffing shortages.
- Ensuring customer satisfaction through regular engagement and effective issue resolution.
Is This Role for You?
This position is a perfect match if you:
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree (preferably technical) and 3–5 years of experience in a management role.
- Have proven leadership skills and the ability to develop high-performing teams.
- Have a strong analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Are familiar with operational KPIs, 5S methodology, and process monitoring tools.
- If you have commercial experience regarding growht, margin, profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Possess excellent communication skills, fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Have proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP system experience is an advantage.
- Are willing and able to travel within Germany to customer sites on regularly basis (approximately 50% of the time, other 50% presence at German Hub at Augsburg). Working remote in this position has limited possibilities.
